PRO FOOTBALL AUSTRALIA 'ADOPT-A-PLAYER' INITIATIVE

Pro Football Australia launches their Adopt-A-Player initiative with  Bolton Wanderers FC and Caboolture Area Youth & Adult Support Services Inc. to raise money for young disadvantaged young people wishing to play sport.

The initiative will create opportunities for disadvantaged children and youth who are socially and financially unable to participate in sport.  The opportunity for young people to join a local sporting club to engage in a range of sporting activities including all codes of football, cricket, netball, and basketball will occur through the generous support of sponsorship from local businesses. 

The initiative works to support young people physically and emotionally through socially inclusive and supportive means. 

Young people at risk have been identified by C.A.Y.S. via referral by community organisations assisting the family and sponsorship will be prioritised and allocated on the basis of hardship. 

The identified target group include:-  i)  Children in the care of the State  ii) Children in supported accommodation  iii) Youth who have successfully completed rehabilitation (Drug/Alcohol)    iv) Youth or children who have been a victim of domestic violence         v) Socially excluded or marginalilsed Children/Young people   vi) Youth/Children where the parent/s are both unemployed & in receipt of financial assistance via Centrelink.

BOLTON WANDERERS FC AUSTRALIAN VISITS 

Bolton have recently completed their first visit to Australia and New Zealand visiting Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland.  During this time, many players have received development from one of the World Leading Premier League Academies.  2 Players from Sydney and Melbourne have been offered further trials back in England at their elite Academy and we wish them all the best for their future in Football.

BWFC will be back in Australia during September and October School Holidays conducting the 2nd level of their Academy Program in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.  They will be back in Perth, Adelaide and Auckland next April/May 2009.

As seen on Channel 10 News,  TV 1  New Zealand and  Sports Tonight,  this is a unique opportunity for development at the highest level as it is 5 Bolton Wanderers FC Coaches from the England Club who travel to Australia to deliver the program.

BOLTON WANDERERS FC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 

BWFC Development program is delivered by 5 Coaches directly from English Premier League and 2007/08 UEFA Championship Qualifiers Bolton Wanderers FC.  The program is focused on development strategies adopted by the first team and includes the following:-

                  -  Skills and Technical Development

                  -  Match Analysis

                  -  Psychology of the Game

                  -  What it take to become a Professional Player

                  -  Nutrition & Physical Development

The program consists of classroom, weight resistence and Core Strength training (for older players) and field development.  All players will receive a BWFC Development Certificate and a feedback assessment itemising their performance against that of the BWFC Academy levels (age specific).    

Players from all skill levels and ability are encouraged to apply as the program is age and development specific.  This basically means if a players development is far more advanced for the age level, they will be identified early and matched with groups of similar ability.

The training is perfect for development for all ages from 10-18.  (Beginners welcomed). 

If you are serious about getting quality development for your child from fully Qualified FIFA Coaches and from one of the worlds leading Academies then this is your chance.

We can assure you the training is second to none and there are 5 BOLTON WANDERERS Coaches coming directly from the UK to develop the next generation of players.  This is one of the most advanced development programs in the world.  We are already 1/2 booked out for our 2nd BWFC Brisbane clinic in September.
